Located in Piper Drive, Shell Heights, this development includes the construction of an energy-efficient, state of the art childcare centre, accommodating up to 126 children. The building is designed with both indoor and outdoor place spaces for children aged 0-6 years. Construction is expected to be completed in May 2022.
Consisting of a sub-basement services level, basement car park with main floor and office above, the building is being constructed on a steep sloping site. The building is founded on bored piers with suspended slabs above along with numerous large retaining walls to negate the slope. The main floor has various study areas, changing and quiet rooms, kitchen, laundry and WC and has large glazed windows and doors opening onto a large soft fall outdoor play area. There is also car parking for up to 32 cars with a lift from the car park to the main entry.
